Are you studying for a degree at Oxford University?
Are you either:
(a) working in Buddhist Studies, or
(b) does your work involve some study of Buddhist material?
If so, you are invited to sign up and become a Student Member of the OCBS.
As a student member of the OCBS, you will have:
1. access to study areas and a specialised library;
2. rights to use OCBS premises for your activities; and
3. areas of the OCBS website at your disposal.
Student Inaugural Meeting
The OCBS will be holding its Inaugural Meeting for students on Monday 20th October - 6.30pm, at the OCBS offices in Wolfson College. This is a chance for any student at the University involved in Buddhist Studies to discover more about the Centre and its activities. We will also be registering student members for 2014/15 at this meeting.
OCBS Student Grant
Thanks to the generosity of the devotees of the Oxford Buddha Vihara, the OCBS will be offering a grant of 500 pounds in Michaelmas Term 2014. This grant is available to anyone who is enrolled on a graduate degree course at Oxford University, whose work includes some element of Buddhist Studies.
The closing date for the receipt of applications is Friday of Week 6, and the grant will be announced in Week 8.
